Project 01
Labrinth Study & Social Space.
This project is a social and study space, mainly targeted at University students looking for a space to not only study but network too. I designed the visuals off of puzzles and mazes, which I believe fits into the game/social part of the brand but also study part as it represents a path/goal. I wanted to create a brand that helps students overcome the challenge of University and the feeling of being alone and tried to capture this in the design language.
Here I have created a typeface that using the main visuals of the design language, which then helped me to create the logo. The main use of this typeface will be for Headings and titles, for both print and digital assets. After creating the typeface I then realised the challenge of using it correctly and so decided to create a set of guidelines to not only help myself when creating other assets but to also help envision how the brand would look as a final product.
